Udupi, Apr 21: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Udyavar Golden Jubilee committee has decided to postpone the valedictory celebrations which were scheduled for April 24 and 25. The organizers said that the programme is postponed due to coronavirus restrictions.
Celebrations involving mass gathering have been restricted by the state government. The organizers informed that the next date for the event will be decided after May 4.
ICYM Golden Jubilee Festival committee has already completed 59 programmes. The state ministers, the bishop and several elected representatives were to participate in the valedictory programme. Famous Tulu drama ‘Oriyardori Asal’ and a Konkani drama were also scheduled to be performed in the valedictory celebration.
