Karkala: Man taking bath drowns in rivulet

Karkala, Apr 22: A person who was taking a bath in a rivulet lost his life after drowning. The unfortunate victim of this incident was Krishnamurthy (30), resident of Bolangal, Hebri.

Krishnamurthy was working as a salesman in a textile store at Udupi. He used to visit his family once a week. He had come here on April 20. On April 21, he went to Jarvattu rivulet of Hebri village near his home to take bath.

His family members noticed that Krishnamurthy had not returned for long. They went to the rivulet and searched for him. His body was found from the rivulet after sometime. A report about the incident was filed at Hebri police station.
