Mumbai: Bar owner arrested in reverse trap

Mumbai, Jun 2: The anti-corruption bureau managed to ground a bar owner with the help of a reverse trap.

The bar owner was trying to bribe a state excise officer about Rs 50,000 on the afternoon of May 27. The bureau acting on the opportunity raided the bar on May 29 and caught him red-handed.

Accordingly, Mohan Shetty was arrested by the ACB (Mumbai unit), owner of Geeta bar and restaurant at Kalachowki, under sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
