Mangaluru: Hotel association provides free Covid-19 vaccination to workers

Mangaluru, Jun 16: Hotel workers were given free vaccines by the hotel association of the city at the Lions Seva Mandir at Mallikatte in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr Bharath Shetty said, “Earlier people were scared to get vaccinated. But now many are alert. There is no need to get scared about the Covid vaccination. There are no side effects for this vaccination. It is possible for us to control coronavirus in the coming days only if all get vaccinated. The government will provide vaccines to everyone in a transparent manner in the coming days. If the infected people do not take any precautions, the possibility of spreading the infections to other family members and also neighbours is very high. We have to safeguard ourselves and also society. That is why it is very important for everyone to take the vaccine.”

MCC health officer Manjaiah Shetty, honorary president Rajgopal Rai, president Chandrahasa Shetty, secretary Nishank Suvarna, BJP Yuva Morcha president Sachin Rai, Abrar, Dr Jagadeesh, Dr Vidya, Ashok, Vikas, Roopesh were present.
