Mangaluru: District witnesses a black fungus-related death

Mangaluru, Jun 21: On Sunday, a fresh black fungus case was reported from Dakshina Kannada district. The person is from Chitradurga district.

A lady from Dakshina Kannada district lost her life to this dreaded disease. Two others have been completely cured of the infection.

As of now, 37 black fungus patients are being treated in different hospitals in Dakshina Kannada district. There are five active black fungus cases in Udupi, and no new cases were reported on Sunday.
