Mangalore: Winners of District Level Under 17 Swimming Competition

Mangalore, Sep 10: District level school games swimming completion for High School children was recently held in Puttur Balavana Swimming pool. The members of Jai Hind Swimming Club, Mangalore participated in the competition in large numbers and many of them qualified to participate in the state level competitions to be held soon.

The competitors are trained by coaches Ramakrishna Rao and Umesh.

The following are the medal winners of the club:

Under 17 - Boys

Ajay D Silva - 3 gold
Sushanth Surathkal – 2 gold, 1 silver

Undr 17 - Girls

Lakshmi Mallya – 2 gold, 1 silver
Anusha Natekar – 2gold, 1 bronze
Sanjana Rao – 1 silver, 2 bronze
Heera Alva – 1 silver 1 bronze

Under 14 - Boys

Sureen M U – 5 gold
Sathya Bhat – 1 gold, 2 silver
Yagnesh Bengre – 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze
Subham Shetty ;- 2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze
Manish Shenoy – 2 gold, 1 silver
