Kundapur, Aug 16: A programme was held to inaugurate the relocated SCDCC bank Thekkatte branch office. Dakshina Kannada district central cooperative bank president Dr M N Rajendra Kumar who presided over the programme said that unlimited loan will be provided by the bank to Navodaya group members intending to be self-employed.

“The government facilities will be made to reach farmers including 0% interest on the basis of ration cards. Everybody should be financially independent,” he said.

Koteshwar agricultural cooperative society president Sharath Kumar Hegde, building owner Raju Kothari, Udupi district cooperative union president Jayaker Shetty Indrali, Malyadi Shivarama Shetty, Dakshina Kannada central cooperative bank directors M Vadiraja Bhat, Shashikumar Rai, K Harischandra, Aikalabava Deviprasad Shetty Belapu, B Ashok Kumar Shetty, Thekkatte branch manager Durganandan R Naika and cooperative society president and executive officials were present.

SCDCC bank director M Mahesh Hegde welcomed. S Raju thanked. Journalist Subrahmanya Padukone compered the programme.
