Bantwal: ECG machine installed in KSRTC 'Surkaksha' ICU bus

Bantwal, Aug 16: “An ECG machine will be installed in KSRTC 'Surkaksha' ICU bus,” said MLA Rajesh Naik. The bus had conducted health check ups of villagers at Bantwal taluk Sarapadi gram panchayat premises on Monday.

“The bus that began its journey at Polali will travel in 39 gram panchayats in Bantwal. It has already covered 21 gram panchayats and conducted health check ups of 1,303 people. Those who are unable to go to distant hospitals can get themselves examined in the bus as there are 5 beds, oxygen facilities, a doctor, a staff nurse and local medical staff for diabetes, blood pressure and other tests,” he said.

He said that the Ajilamagaru – Kadeshivalaya bridge work will be resumed after the monsoons. He later inspected the water tank work constructed for Jalajeevan mission at gram panchayat premises.

Buda president Devadas Shetty, gram panchayat president Leelavati, vice president Nalini, panchayat development officer Sylvia Fernandes, gram panchayat member N Dhananjay Shetty, Ramakrishna Mayya, Dinesh Gowda, Saumyalatha, Shantappa Poojary Hatadadka, Kusuma, Sudarshan Baja, Ganesh Rai, Mani, Shashikanth Shetty Arumudi, Dayananda Shetty Munnalai, Vishwanath Naika, Vishwanath Poojary, Koragappad Gowda, Nishanth Shetty, Poovappa Poojary Bollukallu and others were present.
