Udupi, Aug 16: Team Yuvaspoorthi Manipal celebrated 75th Independence Day at Government Higher pPrimary School in Kajaraguthu on Sunday, August 15.

Kodibettu village panchayat president Asha Shetty hoisted the flag.

As part of the Independence Day celebration, the team had organized various competitions online for the children of the school and prizes were distributed to the winners.

On this occasion, Muralidhar P Bhat, retired headmaster, Sadhu, the headmaster of the school, Devendra Nayak Muttur, Anil Shetty, president and members of school development committee, office bearers of the Old Students Association, teachers and parents were present.

The team of youngsters had contributed to the renovation of the school in the past and today they joined the college committee. Yuvaspoorthi is always get engaged in many such social service activities. During the lockdown, the team was fed hundreds of hungry stomach and pet animals also.
