Kundapur, Aug 16: V Sunil Kumar, Karnataka minister of energy, Kannada and culture visited  on Monday August 16.

He said that he is excited to visit the birth place of Shivaram Karanth and theme park. “Karanth can be called a force with a dynamic personality. He was known for his straight talk. Only a small portion of the theme park is completed now to pronounce his chronicle to the next generation.”

“I am bound to provide any amount of support from the ministry of Kannada and culture. We have selected the theme park after holding discussions with officials to conduct programmes the whole year long while on the threshold of 75 years of independence. Karanth has spread at international level through literature. We are preparing to make his literature richer,” he said.

Minister of social welfare and backward classes Kota Srinivas Poojary welcomed and felicitated minister V Sunil Kumar.
