Kasargod: Yeddyurappa to Seek Lord Rajarajeshwara’s Blessings to Stay Put

Kasargod, Oct 7: Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, who is facing the worst crisis of his political career, will be paying obeisance to god to save his seat. He is scheduled to visit Lord Rajarajeshwara temple in Taliparamba in Kannur near here on Thursday October 7.

It may be recalled that Yeddyurappa had donated a baby elephant to the temple, towards fulfilling a vow he had undertaken before the 2008 assembly election in the state. This incident had been blown out of proportions when protests against Yeddyurappa were organized in Kerala, alleging that he had violated provisions of Wild Life Act.

In the past too he had visited temples and organized oblations in a bid to seek help from the divine powers to save his position. He had visited Lord Subrahmanya temple in Dakshina Kannada district twice during crisis earlier, and offered certain pujas. He had also made huge donations to a temple in Tamil Nadu, which act had given rise to voices of dissent from people of Karnataka, where hundreds of temples continue to be in a state of utter neglect.

Before moving towards Kasargod, CM had touched the city of Mangalore in the early morning.

Yeddi, pray with good heartedly to remove all your sins and give oath to God that henceforth will not acquire land and will be a good citizen of India and will not give permission to Bajrangis, Ram Sene, VHP to attack christians. If so you will succeed and all the best.
