'Encouraging of Regional / Indian languages' - This statement is a big joke as far as English medium is there in India. NEP does not deny English medium learning, so regional language development is far from reach. Nowadays, many students (not all...) who study in English medium find Kannada difficult... They don't know even the names of vegitables in Kannada. Many students are taught Kannada through English!!!!!
