Mumbai, Sep 3: The official trailer of Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Srivastava-starrer ‘Vibe’ is out, offering a glimpse into the action-packed and chaotic world of the upcoming comedy.

The 2-minute-44-second trailer, released on Wednesday, introduces Kunal as an unemployed man approaching middle age who is determined to hold on to his youth. Sparsh plays his best friend, who is comparatively more practical and sensible.

The story takes an unexpected turn when Preity Zinta enters the picture as a spy tasked with training the duo for a sensitive national security mission. Yashpal Sharma and Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, play agents associated with the same agency.

Kunal, who made his directorial debut with ‘Madgaon Express’ in 2024, returns to the director’s chair with ‘Vibe’. The film also stars Vanshika Dhir in a key role.

Sharing the trailer, the makers described the film as a blend of comedy, romance and action, inviting audiences to experience ‘Vibe’ in theatres.

Actor Rajkummar Rao also praised the trailer on social media, expressing excitement over Kunal’s comic treatment and the upcoming film.

‘Vibe’ is produced by Drongo Films, founded by Kunal Kemmu and producer Chirag Nihalani, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios.

Speaking about the film, Kunal said he wanted to create a “no-holds-barred entertainer” combining comedy, action, romance and music. He said the humour comes from ordinary people being caught in situations far beyond their control.

Preity Zinta, meanwhile, said she enjoyed playing a determined character who is deeply committed to protecting her country. She described the experience of working on the film as an adventure, adding that the unpredictable nature of the shoot suited a film titled ‘Vibe’.

‘Vibe’ is scheduled to hit theatres on September 18, 2026.
