Mangaluru: Angelore Youth Movement organises inter-ward 'Bible Quiz'competition

Mangaluru, Nov 8: The Angelore Youth Movement along with Holy Bible Committee if the Guardian Angel Church, Angelore organized inter-ward ‘Bible Quiz 2021’ for the parishioners on Sunday November 7, 2021 at 4.30 pm. Fr William Menezes, parish priest , Fr Lawrence Cutinha, assistant parish priest along with Noel Pinto parish vice president and Lolina D’Souza secretaryof the parish pastoral council were present.

The programme commenced with prayer song from the youths of AYM. Melisha Sony Pinto the president of AYM welcomed the gathering. Fr Antony Prakash Monteiro faculty from St Philomena College Puttur was the quiz master for the day.

Fr William Menezes introduced the quiz master and congratulated the parishioners for participating in the quiz. Megha was the host for the event.

Initially a screening round with written quiz was conducted. 13 wards actively participated in the written quiz out of which 10 wards got selected for the next stage. A total of 10 rounds were held for the 10 wards which included oral as well as visual rounds. Fr William Menezes announced the results. First place was bagged by St Gabriel 2 ward, second place by Fathima ward and third place by St Gabriel 3 ward.

Alisha proposed the vote of thanks. The parishioners and the youths participated actively by their presence.
