Puttur: Lorry driver leaves cleaner behind for seeking loan repayment

Puttur, Nov 10: In an incident which happened here on Tuesday November 9, a lorry driver dropped off the cleaner after growing angry at the cleaner for having sought repayment of Rs 8,000 the driver had borrowed from the cleaner. A young man came to the assistance of the cleaner who was left high and dry.

Sathish from Gairibidanur was stuck because of the behaviour of the lorry driver. The driver and cleaner had brought a load of capsicum to Vittal from Bengaluru in their truck. On that occasion, the cleaner reportedly asked the driver to repay his money. The driver not only threatened the cleaner but also forced him to get down from the truck besides snatching away his mobile phone and purse.

The cleaner started walking from Vittal towards Puttur. When a youth came there in his motorbike, the cleaner sought to be dropped at Puttur The youth brought the cleaner to Puttur, and gave him Rs 800 towards food and ticket fare to Bengaluru.
