Bengaluru: State expected to get heavy rainfall on Nov 11, 12

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 11: Because of the depression in air pressure over the Bay of Bengal, the state is predicted to experience heavy rain coupled with thunder and lightning for two days. The meteorological department has issued an orange alert for some of the districts.

The rainfall will be more in southern interior regions and Malnad districts. Northern interior Karnataka and coastal areas will have normal rainfall as per the prediction.

The fall in the atmospheric pressure experienced in the Bay of Bengal will pass through the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. As a result, Tamil Nadu and Andhra coast will get heavy rainfall on Thursday, the meteorological department stated.
