SICASA Mangaluru branch organizes seminar on Tax Audit for CA students

Mangaluru, Nov 15: The Mangaluru Branch of SICASA organized a one-day seminar on Tax Audit on for CA Students of Mangaluru at ICAI Bhawan, Padil, Mangaluru. The seminar was inaugurated by the chief guest S Manikandan, joint commissioner of Income Tax, Central Range, Mangaluru.

The chief guest in his address motivated students and emphasized on the right mindset to accept setbacks and failures. He also reaffirmed that failures are indeed the stepping stones to success. Hard work has no shortcut and the CA course is one such course which has high value and definitely requires preparation. He further wished the students the best for their careers and future.

The seminar had topics which dwelled on all relevant topics which are the present need considering the busy season we are approaching. CA Sriram V Rao, CA Vineet Shetty and CA Prasanna Kumar Shenoy engaged the session for the benefit of the students. Shavina Soans also engaged in an interactive session on communication skills. The seminar was attended by more than 175 students.

CA Gautham Pai D, chairman of SICASA Mangaluru welcomed the gathering, the chairman of the branch CA K Subramanya Kamath delivered the keynote address and Ancita Gonsalves proposed the vote of thanks.

CA Abdur Rahman Musba, branch vice chairman, CA Prasanna Shenoy, secretary, CA Gautham Nayak, treasurer, CA Ananth Padmanabha, past chairman, CA Jagannath Kamath, past chairman, Adithya N Rao, SICASA Mangaluru vice chairman and other office bearers of SICASA Mangaluru were present on the occasion.
