Bengaluru: Kumaraswamy warns BJP not to meddle with his party affairs

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 16: Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, has warned the BJP not to meddle with his party affairs in the guise of criticising family politics. He said that the BJP itself is fully immersed in family politics and so it has no right to point fingers at the others.

He was responding to a tweet by the BJP which said that the JD(S) is involved with family politics that is confined to H D Deve Gowda's family, in a press conference held on Monday November 15. He pointed out that the constitution has not restrained or forbidden anyone from entering politics, and felt that the BJP is involved with mudslinging in order to cover up its own fallacies.

"Do you think the BJP is free of family politics? We have already furnished a list and if we go on this issue, it will be a never ending affair. It is true that Deve Gowda has been the national president of our party for very long. He is ready to leave this post to the others. Ours is a regional party, and we rely on individual charisma," he stated. He wanted to know whether the Bitcoin scandal had happened during the period of Deve Gowda and wondered whether any scams had happened when he himself was the chief minister. He recalled that he was accused of the Rs 150 crore scandal and asked where that allegation went now.
