Mangaluru, Nov 17: Spoorthi Mahila Mandali Padavinangady and Youth club Anganwadi, Padavinangady celebrated children’s day in the company of children at Benaka auditorium here on November 16.
Youth club honorary president Prabhaker Karkera, Spoorthi Mahila Mandali president Babitha Shetty, cultural secretary Geetha Rao, Ramdev Pathanjali Yoga state in charge Sujatha Marla, Spoorthi Mahila Mandali founder president Bharathi Dinesh, honorary president Shwetha Kamath and Padavinangady Anganwadi activist Lolakshi Mohan were on the dais.
The programme began after lighting the lamp. Spoorthi Mahila Mandali vice president Shobha Dhananjay sang a prayer. Spoorthi Mandali member Swathi Sathish compered the programme.
Sport competitions were held for Anganwadi children and all the children were presented prizes and distributed sweets. Lalakshi Mohan rendered a vote of thanks.
