Bengaluru, Nov 17: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai conferred the 19 th annual Ramanashri Sharana Literary Awards at the Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat and Ramanashri Foundation in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Dr Gururaja Karajagi was conferred the Ramanashri Lifetime Achievement Award while Dr Shantha Imrapoor, Dr Pradeep Kumar Hebri, Dr Nanda Patil, Dr Bhagyamma G Smitarao Bellur, Swami Vivekananda Integrated Rural Health Centre and Pantanjali Yoga Education Committee were other recipients of the Ramanashri Sharana Awards.
Noted litterateur Go. Ru. Channabasappa, Manu Baligar, Ravi Hegde were among the dignitaries who attended the function.
The Chief Minister also released a book written by S Shadakshari.
