Bengaluru: Sr Maria Nirmalini A C elected as national president of CRI

Bengaluru, Nov 17: Sr Maria Nirmalini A C was elected as the national president of the Conference of Religious, India (CRI). Earlier, Sr Nirmalini was elected the president of the Women’s Section of the CRI.

The online executive meeting of CRI was held on November 13, 2021 to choose the national president of the CRI from among three sectional presidents namely, CRI Women’s Section, CRI Brothers’ Section and CRI Priests’ Section. Accordingly, Sr Maria Nirmalini A C was elected by absolute majority as the national president, for the term 2021-2024.

Sr Maria Nirmalini is the superior general of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation elected at the General Chapter, February 2020.
