Kaup: Young software engineer, multi-faceted artist passes away

Kaup, Nov 18: Yatish Y Shetty (25), a multi-dimensional artist, breathed his last in a private hospital in Mangaluru due to ill health on Wednesday November 17.

Yatish, after completing a degree in software engineering, was employed in Robosoft Technologies Udupi. His achievements in the fields of music, painting, dance, Yakshagana, play etc was commendable. He has left behind father, Yashodhar Shetty, president of Kaup taluk Daivaradhakara Okkoota, and mother, Katapady gram panchayat development officer, Mamata Y Shetty, and a brother.

Yatish was a friendly man involved with Sannidhi artists Udupi, Javaner Uchila, Mokeda Kalavider Kunjoor, Sakshi Kalavider Belapu, and Samsara Kalavider Paniyoor groups as an amateur and multi-talented artist. He was also known for his comedy skits, Bale Telipale and Comedy Premier League. He was active with Uchila Rotary Club.He had also acted in the short film of the state government, 'Namo Bharat' meant for the Swachh Bharat campaign.
