Brahmavar, Nov 18: Ward members of Brahmavar ward of St Mary's Syrian Cathedral Brahmavar celebrated Children's Day at 'Mamateya Thottilu' house here in Santhekatte. Fr Joseph Chako, assistant parish priest, St Mary's Syrian Cathedral Brahmavar on the occasion said, "Spending time with the children is a heavenly feeling. When the disciples asked to show them the paradise, Jesus showed them the children and said, "You cannot see paradise until you turn yourself into child". We should be like a child in this world whatever may be the situation," he said.
Fr Lawrence D'Souza blessed the children and presided over the function.
Elizabeth Marina of Mamteya Thottilu thanked the ward members for providing necessary items to the children.
Milton Olivera welcomed the gathering and Ivan Donath Suares compered the programme. Francis D'Sa, ward gurkar and ward members were present on the occasion.
