Udupi, Nov 19: "We never told that we do not want the probe. We will probe the case in all angles. Soon, the investigation should reveal which Congress leaders and drug peddlers have involved in this,” said Sunil Kumar, minister for Energy.
He was speaking to media persons in Udupi.
Speaking about repealing of three farm laws by the union government, he said, “Already in this regard, several farmers held a protest. The opposition is misleading the farmers. Our government will not take any decision eyeing the elections."
He also said that all the three bills were in favour of the farmers. “The union government has given several programmes in favour of the farmers. The programmes are not reaching people effectively. It is our deficiency in taking farmers into confidence. We came to know that who are in favour of the middlemen. We will make all efforts to reach farmers in the coming days and try to convince them. Violence was held intentionally in the farm bill protests.”
The BJP government will accept everything equally, he added.
