Mangaluru, Nov 20: Former minister Ramanath Rai demanded sitting judge enquiry over bit coin scam.

Addressing media here on Saturday November 20, Ramanath Rai said, “Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai alleged that Congress leaders are involved in the Bitcoin scam by which he indirectly agreed that the incident has taken place. During Congress tenure, we had ordered probe into eight issues whenever the then opposition BJP demanded.

“The websites of the Central government including Jan Dhan, pension scheme and gas subsidy has been hacked which is a serious issue. The BJP state president has been silent over Bitcoin scam. Prime accused Sriki has agreed the involvement of certain high profile leaders.

“Hence, we demand a sitting judge enquiry into the Bitcoin scam and truth will be revealed over the leaders involvement,” he said.

District Youth Congress president Luqman Bantwal, Congress leader Shashidhar Hegde, Harinath, Sahul Hameed and others were present.
