Udupi: Avani Kedilaya, Parnika U Kulal bag first prize in Kids Photo contest 2021

Udupi, Nov 20: The much awaited results of Kids’ photography 2021 contest conducted by Mummy Digital Studio in association with Lions Club Udyavar Sunshine for the age between age between 0-2 years and 2-5 years are announced.

Avani Kedilaya from Padu Alevoor and Parnika U Kulal from Harikhandige, won the first prize under the age between 0-2 years and 2-5 years. The contest was organized on the occasion of Children’s day.

Pranathi Pai from Mudrady and Anvi Shetty from Palli Karkala from Parkala bagged the second and third prize respectively under the age between 0-2 years.

Siddhant V Hegde and Rishika from Kunjibettu received the second and third prize respectively under the age between 2-5 years.

Consolation prizes were bagged by H Arya Joyis from Kelapete Hebri, Rishwik Shetty from Perdur, Gowthami from Perdur, Smruthi Adiga from Badagubettu, Bailoor and Dion Marcus D’souza under the age between 0-2 years.

Jionha Mendonsa was chosen by the judges as 'Judges Choice' under the same age group.

Under the age between 2-5 years Riyanshi S Kiran from Pithrody, Suvith Kulal from Harikhandige, Hiranmayi Bhat from Kunjibettu, Steven Olivera from Mangaluru and Siddhi S Kamath from Lakshminagar Kodavoor received consolation prizes.

The competition got overwhelmed response from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. Well known photographers Sharatguru and Satish Sherigar were the judges. Godfrey D'souza, president, Lions Club Udyavar Sunshine, Royce Fernandez, treasurer, Lions club, John Fernandez, former president, Prem Menezes, owner, Mummy Digital Studio and Steven Culaco were present.

The winners will be receiving Rs 3,333, Rs 2,222 and Rs 1,111 cash prize for the first, second and third place winners respectively under two categories.
