Udupi, Nov 22: New facilities of Orthoptics Clinic, Low Vision Aids Clinic, I -Trace and Paediatric eye clinic were inaugurated in Prasad Netralaya Super Specialty Eye hospital herein Udupi on Sunday, November 21.

Pejawara Seer Shri Shri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha Swamiji, Sombhai Modi, chairman SarvodaySeva Trust Vadnagar Gujarat and Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, president Vivekananada Vidhyavardhaka Sangha inaugurated the new facilities at the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion Sombhai Modi, chairman Sarvoday Seva Trust said, "Dr Krsihnaprasad always thinks about giving the best treatment to the patients. He has always been a pioneer in introducing new technologies in the field. Any new machinery developed for the treatment of eyes is been introduced by Dr Krishnaprasad to his patients. He and his team had come to Vadnagar, Gujarat and had conducted a week's eye check up camp. All the expenditure of travel and accommodation was taken care by himself. They also distributed spectacles to the needy," he said.

Blessing the new facilities Pejawara Seer Shri Shri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha Swamiji said, "Dr Krishnaprasad and Prasad Nethralaya are pride of Udupi. God lives not only in temples but also in the hearts of the individuals. Dr Krsihnaprasad has found Lord Krishna in the temples as well as in the hearts of the individuals. With this he has been rendering his selfless service to people of far away places," he said.

The new facilities are equipped to treat specially eye related problems of children. I-Trace gives clear picture about the problems in eye.
