Kundapur: Byndoor block Congress office inaugurated

Kundapur, Nov 22: “Byndoor, that is on the border of Udupi district has found a strong base in the leadership of K Gopala Poojary and the cooperation of party leaders. May the party office that has begun functioning in the heart of the constituency be the foundation for further growth of the party,” said district Congress president Ashok Kumar Kadovoor. He was speaking after inaugurating Congress block office near Byndoor circle.

“The recruitment of Congress members has already begun. We intend to recruit seven thousand members in each block and 70 thousand members in the district,” he said.

Former MLA K Gopala Poojary said that the party is being organized uninterrupted in the constituency. “The party is being strengthened by recruiting new members in villages. People confide in the Congress party,” he said.

District Congress’s Raju Poojary, Vasudev Yadiyala, Raghuram Shetty, Prakaschandra Shetty, former zilla panchayat member Gauri Devadiga, Byndoor block president Madan Kumar, Vandse block president Pradeep Kumar Shetty, former taluk panchayat member Vijaya Shetty, K Ramesh Ganiga Kollur, Jagadish Devadiga, Udaya Poojary, Youth congress president Shekhar Poojary, Prasanna Kumar Shetty, city Congress president Nagaraj Ganiga, Udaya Kumar Shetty, Santhosh Kumar Shetty, Sharath Kumar Shetty, Arvind Poojary, Roshan Kumar Shetty, Shanti Pereira and others were present.
