Mangaluru, Dec 6: A special programme for young girls titled ‘Tarun–Taran’ on the subject of personal rights, knowledge, positive use of time and the aim of life was held in the cooperation of M L empower HR forum, PG department of social works. St Aloysius college, Mangaluru at St Sebastian English medium school auditorium on December 5 as part of the silver jubilee celebrations of Catholic Sabha, St Sebastian church, Permannur.

The programme began after singing the hymn, Holy Bible reading and watering the sapling.

St Sebastian English Medium School headmistress Sr Jacinta Crasta chaired the programme. Dr Vidya Vinuta D’Souza and Dr Renita D’Souza were on the dais as resource persons. Fr Cyprian Pinto, Parish priest gave away his message.

Welfare committee convener Juliet Janet D’Souza welcomed. Secretary Arun D’ Souza rendered a vote of thanks. Pramila D’Souza introduced the resource persons. Sherlin D’Souza compered the programme. As many 86 girls in the parish participated in the programme. Meals were served to all.
