Kundapur, Dec 7: In an accident which happened opposite Gandhi Maidan in Voderhobli village here on national highway on the night of Sunday December 5, a pedestrian was killed.
Girish was moving in his car towards Byndoor from the direction of Udupi when his vehicle hit Naveen (42), a resident of Konkikerebagilu in Guddeangady village, who was crossing the road. Naveen f ell to the road, suffered grave injuries and lost his life on the spot.
Diwakar Acharya, who was seated in the car, was also injured in the accident. He is being treated in a private hospital here. A case in this connection was filed in the traffic police station here.
