Mysuru: KSRTC bus conductor returns ornaments worth eight lac rupees

Mysuru, Dec 7: A KSRTC bus conductor gave evidence of his exemplary honesty when he returned gold ornaments worth right lac rupees which a woman had lost in the bus when travelling.

A woman, Umamaheshwari, had come to Nanjangud from Mysuru along with family on Sunday December 5. She had forgotten her bag containing gold ornaments in the bus. It is learnt that she was here to take part in the housewarming ceremony.

Bus conductor, Erayya, had got down from the bus after the bus reached Nanjangud bus stand and the passengers alighted, and went to have snacks. On his return, he found the bag containing ornaments and returned the same to its owner.
