Kundapur, Dec 7: The chariot festival of Vinayaka deity was held at Anegudde Vinayaka temple Kumbhasi on December 7. Ashtottara Sahasra Nelikera Mahaganapathi Yaga rituals were held as part of the celebrations.
Festival celebrations began in the temple on December 4. Several religious rituals were performed on the festival day. Meals were served in the afternoon. Thousands of devotees were happy to see the glorious idol of Vinayaka deity on the chariot.
Temple managing trustee by heritage Raman Upadhyaya, paryaya priest K Venkataramana Upadhyaya and brothers, hereditary trustees K Suryanarayana Upadhyaya and K Vittal Upadhyaya were present.
