Mangaluru, Dec 8: Rachana, Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a talk on 'Crypto Currency' at Chef's Restaurant Kadri on December 7. C A Anwesh Shetty was the guest speaker of the day.

C A Anwesh explained in simple terms how Crypto Currency works. That's a huge network, by many people, unlike regular currency managed by bank. It's a digital currency and has its own benefit and flaws, opportunities and risks as well. But it will be the norm of the day in say around 15 to 20 years in India. Like we found internet difficult when it started, but then we got used to it, similarly Crypto Currency will storm our economy in the years to come.

There were almost 50 members present in the audience who listened to Anwesh with focused interest.

Rachana president Vincent Cutinha welcomed the gathering. Vijay Vishwas Lobo, governing body member,did the invocation. Eulalia Dsouza, treasurer introduced the speaker to the gathering, joint secretary Philip Pereira proposed vote of thanks. Leslie Rego, governing body member compered the programme.
