Udupi: 22-year-old with mental disorder hospitalised by social worker, police

Udupi, Dec 11: Police detained a 22-year-old youth with mental disorder for allegedly knocking doors of houses in the midnight and threatening the public to assault with iron rod and bottle at Adi-Udupi.

Social worker Vishu Shetty Ambalpady along with the help of city police detained him and admitted him to a private hospital.

The youth is basically from Bellary. He is working as labourer. When relatives of the youth contacted Vishu Shetty, he rushed to Udupi. With help of police Sathish, Vishu Shetty admitted him to the hospital.
