Mangaluru, Dec 12: Frad Saib ( Alexander Dubois) day was celebrated in a grand manner on December 11, 2021. The thanksgiving Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr Joseph Martis, professor, St Joseph Seminary Mangaluru along with other priests.
The concelebration mass began at 5.30 pm in which the main celebrant preached a meaningful homily on the missionary zeal of Frad Saib, the founder of Cordel parish. He called the devotees of Frad Saib 'KullerdaAjjer' to build a temple of faith, a hospital of health and care and a home of brotherhood. The mass was followed by an impressive Eucharistic procession, which ended with benediction. The parish priest Fr Clifford Fernandes rendered the vote of thanks.
About 2,500 faithful participated in the religious event.
