Mangaluru, Dec 14: Dr B M Hegde and Pejawar Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji, who were conferred with Padma Vibhushan award this year, and Harekala Hajabba, who was awarded Padma Shri, will be felicitated by Be Human Mangaluru unit at 6.30 pm on December 17 at the town hall here.

Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, who is the current head of Pejawar Math, will accept the felicitation on behalf of his Guru who is no more.

Mohammed Ameen, Be Human Mangaluru unit president, will preside. Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra will be the chief guest. City corporation commissioner Akshy Sridhar, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs U T Khader, Vedavyasa Kamath and Manjeshwar MLA A K M Ashraf, MLC B M Farooq, former MLC Ivan D'Souza, mayor Premananda Shetty, Mangalore diocese public relations officer Roy Castelino, president of Bearys Chamber of Commerce and Industry, M Rashid Haji, Mansoor Ahmed Azad, president of Hidaya Foundation, and others will participate.
