If we calculate economic impact it will be even bigger- All would definitely have gone to so called FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES- otherwise obvious why renounce-citizenship of india--------------- Hence To start a new life with family means ----------one has to have say overall savings of 1 million Dollars & many much much more -- apart from this their individual abilities to do well in the new country - only talented people can generally thrive -- education - entrepreneurship - etc etc - So these are losses for India---- EARLY 2000 ' s -INDIA WAS PROJECTED OPTIMISTICALLY ----TO BE FIRST WORLD COUNTRY BY 2020-- LATE DR ABDUL KALAM - FORMER PRESIDENT -- used to be very optimistic- In many speeches used to refer to 2020 -- INDIA - like in EYE VISION - 20 X 20 -- A few have done exceedingly well -- LIKES OF MR AMBANI - MR ADANI -- rest have become more poorer - or dropped in income levels - middle class to lower class-

If I had a chance even I would migrate with family.... Not much hope with BJP and moronic, uneducated Sanghis unnecessarily creating tensions everywhere, and not making it worthwhile to live our lives completely without fear. Simply because these uneducated fellows are a crass majority they want to show off their bluster and muscle power, to what sadistic pleasure only God knows...but thankfully not so much happening in our twin districts. Ironically, most of the people migrating are qualified, educated, middle class hindus, causing a brain drain to India

8 lakh Indians lost faith in Modi's leadership. These were Indians with the resources to flee India. Imagine how many Indians want to flee Modi's India but lack the resources to do so.

Several countries around the world recognize dual citizenship which makes it easy for ethnic minorities in their new home to freely travel between the two countries. Some countries require an immigrant to become citizens in order to take government jobs or practice a profession, such as law. But they continue to recognize citizenship of the country of origin of the immigrant. It is a pity that India does not recognize dual citizenship; it is a big loss for India. In my case, I was a British subject until the Indian Citizenship Act was passed in 1950 and when I emigrated to Canada and entered government service in 1972 I had to take Canadian citizenship. The Indian High Commission cancelled my Indian passport. Years later, the Indian Government decided to offer OIC and PIO cards to former Indian citizens, but it was too late for me. I t would have been wiser to introduce dual citizenship; it is not too late for others, though at 91 it is for me.
