Mumbai: Cops arrest fourth accused in extortion case against Sachin Waze

Mumbai, Dec 17: Vinay Singh, owner of two pubs in the city, was arrested by the city cops for his alleged part in the extortion case of dismissed API Sachin Waze.

Former city police chief Param Bir Singh is also accused in the same case. Vinay Singh is the fourth accused to be arrested in the case.

The case was transferred to the crime branch though it was initially registered in the Goregaon police station.

Vinay Singh (40), was taken by the crime branch sleuths from a café about which they got a tip off. Vinay is accused of collecting extortion money in the name of police along with another person.
