Mumbai: Man arrested for possession of Marijuana

Mumbai, Dec 20: Crime branch police arrested a man for possessing Marijuana worth Rs 17 lac. The arrest was made at Bhiwandi of Thane district.

The police interacted on a tip off from a source that a person has large stock of the drug which is stored in a house at Fatma Nagar area of Bhiwandi.

The house was raided by the cops and Hasan Raja alias Guddu was nabbed. Marijuana weighing 75 kg was confiscated from him.

Police arrested the accused on Saturday and produced him to the court which sent him to police custody till December 22.
