Chikkamagaluru, Dec 20: BJP national general secretary, C T Ravi, said that he is not a disciple of Kotwal Ramachandra. "Those who are trusted associates of Kotwal Ramachandra feel that others are also like them," he commented.

Ravi was responding to Shivakumar's reference to him at 'Looti (plunder) Ravi'.

In reply to questions raised by the media persons at the Datta Peeta, he said that he happens to be a volunteer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a patriotic organization. He also claimed that after becoming an MLA, his wealth has not increased. "People who have amassed illegal wealth and are jailed and secured bail, are passing remarks about others," he said.

Ravi said that he had gone to jail as a result of carrying on agitations on the issues of Datta Peeta and popular issues, but not by plundering money or assets belonging to others.
