Leonel Optics’ second Titan Eye Plus store inaugurated in Udupi

Udupi, Dec 21: Leonel Optics’ second showroom of Titan Eye Plus was inaugurated on Sunday December 19 at Mandavi Trade Center here in Kadiyali.

Dr Vijay Ballal, trustee, Ambalpady Lord Janardhana and Mahakalai temple Ambalpady, Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest, Mother of Sorrows Church Udupi and Katheeb Nazeer Ahmed Sa'adi, Rehmaniya Masjid Doddangudde inaugurated the new showroom along with other dignitaries.

Leonel is an official enterprise for TATA products in Udupi. The organization is currently having franchises of Titan watches - World of Titan near KSRTC bus stand, Tanishq Gold and Diamond Jewellery in Geethanjali theatre road, Titan Eye Plus in Kittur Chennamma Road Ajjarkad and Udupi-Manipal main road Kadiyali, CottonKing in Bannanje and Fastrack franchise in Shivamogga. Led by Maxim Saldanha, Gretta Saldanha, Leonel and Oniel, they have earned a renowned name.

The second Titan Eye Plus store on Udupi-Manipal main road in Kadiyali, has wide range of frames, cooling glasses, contact lenses. Titan products such as trends, ace, dash, enigtha, and International brands such as Rayban, Stepper, Tommy Hilfiger, Vogue and Oakley are available here. Computerized eye testing is also done by expert team members. Titan lenses are available from Rs 395 and Titan frames from Rs 695. As a part of inaugural offer, 10% discount is available on Titan lens and frames till December 29.

Inaugurating the store, Dr Vijay Ballal said, "Eyes are a very important part of the human body. We hear something, but to understand what we have heard clearly, we see it through our eyes. Due to the increased usage of mobile phones, even the children are now witnessing vision problems. Let everyone receive good service from this store.”

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Charles Menezes said, "We lost Puneeth Rajkumar recently, but as a good gesture he had declared to donate his eyes which is a very noble thing to do as human beings. We should not just see through our eyes but should understand the situations and need to act. We should develop our inner eyesight also.”

Dr Sulatha Bhandary, professor and HOD department of Ophthalmology, Kasturba Hospital Manipal said, "As most of the people are using computers, more and more vision problems are being detected. Children and adults are in need of spectacles. Along with the eye testing, frames and lenses, the store should also create awareness about eye donation. This will help the people to pledge their eyes for donating.”

Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, president, CREDAI Udupi and managing director, Mandavi Builders and Developers wished all the success for the new store and said, "I thank Titan for opening a second store in Udupi. Katheeb Nazeer Ahmed Sa'adi, Rehmaniya Masjid Doddangudde congratulated the franchise owner and team for launching the new store.
