Bengaluru: Fake Nandini brand ghee recovered again

Bengaluru, Dec 22: Within days of unearthing a racket involved with manufacturing fake 'Nandini' brand ghee near Mysuru, has come the information that fake Nandini ghee worth Rs 15 lac has been recovered from the godown of Dealshare Agency at Makali near Nelamangala.

In a joint surprise raid conducted by the food safety department and Madanayakanahalli police on the said godown at Makali, Nelamangala, the said stock of Nandini ghee was seized. The packets resembled that of Nandini, but a check confirmed that the ghee was fake.

It is learnt that Dealshare company which handles online wholesale dealership, has supplied ghee to shops located all over Bengaluru city and rural districts, and shops located in nooks and corners of Ramanagara district.
