Mangaluru: Nitin Gadkari instructs immediate repair of Addahole-Hassan road

Mangaluru, Dec 23: Union minister for road transport and highways, Nitin Gadkari, has instructed the concerned to undertake repair of national highway 75 between Addahole and Hassan immediately.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, and Mysuru MP Pratap Simha, met the minister at Delhi on Wednesday December 22 and urged him to undertake the said repairs. Gadkari immediately summoned the official concerned and instructed to undertake the repair work forthwith.

In a release, Nalin Kumar Kateel said he is grateful to the instant response of the minister to the problem.

    Though it is very appreciable of Mr. Nitin Gadkari to have taken immediate action, it is painful to see that the concerned roadways officials have to be advised to do their regular duty of looking after the roads in the state. Such officers are the culprits for this delay for which a cabinet minister of repute have to be intervened.. I pray Mr. Gadkari takes note of this lack of service from the road department officials. If this small work was done such big waste of everybody's time, efforts, money and unnecessary follows up would have not been necessary.
