Kaup: Welder ends life by consuming poison

Kaup, Dec 24: Ravi (42) from Sarkarigudde in Moodabettu village here ended her life by consuming poison. Ravi was working as a welder.

It is learnt that he was a heavy liquor addict. He remained unmarried for want of a suitable girl who is agreeable to marry him. Frustrated with his life, he had consumed rat poison mixed with beer on December 12.

After he threw up thereafter, he was admitted into the district government hospital at Udupi. Without responding to treatments, he breathed his last on Wednesday December 22 night. Kaup police have registered a case.
