Kasargod, Dec 24: Under Snehalaya's social outreach programme, a house for George Leo D’Souza of Vorkady was handed over on December 22. This project was successfully completed with the donations and contributions of parish priest and parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady and generous minded and socially concerned people.

Fr Francis Rodrigues, parish priest of Sacred Heart of Jesus church, Vorkady blessed the newly built house.

The unveiling of the name board was done by Alwyn Miranda, Dubai and Rony D’Souza, vice president of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady. Generous donor John Maxim D’Souza MD, Mazaya Group Dubai and Stephen Pinto as a representative of Michael D’Souza a businessman and philanthropist was also present to grace the occasion.

Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto, rector of St Aloysius Institutions, handed over the keys of the newly built house to George Leo D’Souza and to his family members. It was a very happy and joyful moment for all the concerned people who were working together from past 9 months for the completion of this project.

Everyone present there were admired the workmanship of the contractors and his team. Contractors and donors were felicitated by Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Jovita D’Souza expressed her feelings and gratefulness towards everyone.

Geroge Leo D’Souza was highly indebted to everyone who made this day to in his life. The donors from Vorkady parish were felicitated by the parish priest.

Parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church were also present at the ceremony.

Everyone congratulated, wished and prayed for the happy living of George Leo D’Souza and his family at his new house ‘Mahima’.
