Karkala: Two men barge into house, assault women over business dispute

Karkala, Dec 26: A case has been registered in the rural police station here accusing two men of barging into the house of two women and assaulting them on differences over bus transport business.

Complainant Wilmalia D’Souza, resident of Kedinje Gundi House of Nandalike village has accused Mahesh Ganiga and his friend Nitin Shetty of assaulting Wilmalia and her mother.

According to the complaint, there were differences between Mahesh Ganiga and Wilmalia D’Souza over the Bus transportation business. In the complaint it is alleged that Mahesh Ganiga, along with his friend Nitin Shetty, arrived in a car and trespassed the house of Wilmalia and assaulted her. They also attacked Natalia Aranha, mother of Wilmalia, who tried to intervene.

A case in this connection is registered in Karkala police station.

    Uneducated ,lawless people .Attacking women when no man in house is.Whatever indifference of business or Problems ,first clear it before a third person who can give a clear answer or go to police ,or Panchayat member.Not come to the house of women when no man is there and attack.why is Police is there when u settle by attacking ?Business dispute clear before a lawyer.Women must complain to the police over assault .
