Shivamogga, Dec 27: A family of nine members in the taluk of Bhadravathi in the district joined Hinduism on Sunday December 26 from Christianity.
The members of the family of Jayasheelan, resident of Antharagange of Bhadravathi embraced Hinduism in the presence of members and leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, priest Krishnamurthy Somayaji and Karisiddeshwara Swamiji of Arakere Viraktha Math.
Jayasheelan, who was a Hindu, had got converted to Christianity. Now due to their own interest, the whole family came back to Hinduism. Eminent leaders of Hindu community congratulated the members of Jayasheelan family on the occasion. Many Hindu organizations took part in the programme.
