Sullia: Illegal cattle trafficking – Accused taken into custody

Sullia, Dec 28: Police confiscated the vehicle that was used to transport cows illegally and took one person into custody on the late night of December 26 near Katoor of Adkar of Jalsoor in the taluk.

The jeep which was used to transport the cow fell into the roadside drain after the driver of the vehicle lost control. When the local Bajrang Dal activists inspected the vehicle, they came to know about the illegal trafficking of cows in it. They immediately informed the matter to Sullia police, who visited the spot, arrested the accused and confiscated the vehicle.
