Mumbai, Dec 31: BJP north Mumbai district and MP Gopal C Shetty Tulu Kannadigara Abhimani Balaga held a programme to felicitate special achievers as part of birth anniversary week celebrations of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Samata Nagar, Kandivili east.

Dr Sunita M Shetty, veteran author, professor, member of the advisory committee of Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha was honoured on the occasion.

MP Gopal C Shetty, MLA Manisha Chowdhari, Mumbai cricket association’s Dr P V Shetty, Mundapa S Payyade, Ravi S Shetty and north Mumbai district BJP vice president Ermal Harish Shetty were on the dais. They felicitated Dr Sunita M Shetty, Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel and Chandrashekar Palethady.

Mangal Prabhath Lodha, advocate Sidharth Sharma, Nitte M G Shetty, Dr Sathish Shetty, Shivananda Shetty, BJP Mira Bhayander district vice president Munnalayiguthu Sachidananda M Shetty, Mahesh Shetty Thellar, Girish Shetty Thellar, Krisha Shetty Charkop, Raghuram K Shetty, Sanoor Manohar S Kamath, Vijaya R Bhandary, Mala Karunaker Shetty, Gautham Shetty, Petemane Prakash Shetty, Anil Salian, Karunaker Shetty Borivili, Arusha N Shetty and others were present.

Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture vice president Karunaker S Shetty introduced the felicities. BJP Yuva district secretary Avinash Rai compered the programme. Mundappa S Payyade rendered the vote of thanks.
