Mangaluru, Dec 31: TV actor, veteran drama artist, story writer, retired employee of Kurdremukha company, Venumitra Kasargod passed away after a brief illness in a private hospital in Mangaluru, on December 30.

He has several awards to his credit including the ‘Ranga Bhasker’ award presented by Rangasangathi Samskitika Prathistana.

He was the resident of Yeyyadi and left behind his wife, a son, a daughter, friends, relatives and fans.
